Citi announced it distributed over 250 tons to 7,714 low-income families in Chennai through the bank’s first personalized charitable-giving program in India, or globally. Via the Citi-designed program, You Nominate. We Donate., Citi employees were asked to share the names of up to two families who they would like to supply rations to. Pioneering regional connectivity in India, SpiceJet, the country’s favourite airline and the largest regional player   announced the launch of a daily non-stop flight connecting Delhi with Pakyong (Gangtok), Sikkim effective 23rd January 2021. SpiceJet was awarded Pakyong under UDAN II. Pakyong airport is the only operational civil airport handling commercial flight operations in the State and SpiceJet will be the first and only airline to offer daily direct air connectivity between Delhi and the North-Eastern State of Sikkim.
