Gold medal winning basketball player, Anitha Pauldurai is one of the sports personalities named as a recipient of the Padma Shri award for the year 2021.

Highly self motivated Anitha who is confident of getting better every day in an exclusive interview to Chennai Plus said that winning the Padma Shri is immense to her as she can set an example to youngsters about hard work, working towards achieving dreams and dedication. “An undiminished burning attitude to Achieve is directly proportional to your Success”, Anitha further added.

An award evening ceremony titled “PURASKARA SANDHYA 2023” organised by Indian Magic Academy was held in a grand magical manner on 3 rd September 2023 at Madras Kerala Samajam Hall, Chennai.   Film star Seema inaugurated the award ceremony.
