APOLLO HOSPITALS LAUNCHES POST-COVID RECOVERY CLINICS ACROSS NETWORK

  Chennai, October 20, 2020: The Apollo Hospitals Group today announced the launch of Post-COVID Recovery Clinics across the hospital network. The Post-COVID Recovery Clinics will address the rising number of patients who have recovered from COVID but are suffering from the mid and long term persistent effects of the infection. Over 50% of COVID patients suffer from problems that include breathlessness, chest pain and heart issues, joint pains, vision problems, and memory loss months after contracting the novel coronavirus. The Post-COVID Recovery Clinics will be manned by a team of specialists including neurologists and immunologists to help patients deal with the aftermath of COVID-19 and restore them to health. Bank of Baroda, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Sign MoU for Customer, Dealer Finance

  Mumbai, October 20, 2020 : Bank of Baroda, India’s third largest public sector bank, today announced a Memorandum of Understanding with Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) to enable finance options for both - its customers and dealers - across a vast number of cities and towns in India.                                                                                                                                   Following the tie-up, Bank of Baroda will be one of the preferred financiers for the entire range of vehicles sold by TKM. The new service facilitates customers to avail customised solutions such as high on-road funding of 90 per cent, long repayment period of 84 months, no prepayment or foreclosure charges. Tree Sapling Drive in Chennai

Mass tree plantations initiated by National Green Corps(NGC) Dept of Environment, Govt of Tamil Nadu, Thuvakkam NGO and Inner wheel club of Madras Thiruvanmiyur jointly by involving 100 volunteers in Govt model higher secondary school campus, Saidapet, Chennai as part of adding greenery to City. Native trees plantation drive was initiated by G.Thangaraj,Dist Coordinator NGC who listed out the greenery initiatives of the Govt and other agencies in the presence of Mr.Shanmugha Sundaram HM of the school and Dr.Muthu Pandi selvi, Principal Govt Institute of Higher education.  Earlier Mr.Krishnakumarand Mr.Parthiban from Thuvakkam & Mr.Rajavelu from Green Needa movement briefed the importance of native species and the necessity of plantation drives in metro cities.   .

Felicitated for their Sports Achievements Former M P Mr. P H Manoj Pandian and International Basketball player, Gold & Bronze medal winner at the EMG, Turin, Italy & General Secretary, TNKMGA, Mr. S Purushothaman had recently appreciated and felicitated the following players. Mrs Anitha P, she is the only Woman in India to play 18 years of International Basketball (record achievement), Indian Women team captain for 6 consecutive yrs for Asian Games. Mr Adam Antony Sinclair, Olympian and has represented the Country at the Asian Games in Hockey.   Ms Christy Elena Edward, former Nationals Player, represented 3 States & currently playing for Khelo Masters Games. She has represented India at the International Masters at European Masters Games, Turin, Italy & Australian Masters Games, Adelaide, Australia where they won bronze and Silver respectively. She was the Captain cum Coach for the AMG team.  They were awarded for their remarkable achievements in their respective sport
