International Coastal Clean-up Day 2023

The Indian Coast Guard (East)  and TREE Foundation Chennai organized the International Coastal Clean-up Day (ICC) Day this morning between 06:00 am  to 08:00 am (16-September-2023). International Coastal Clean-up Day is celebrated world over to instil a sense of responsibility among the general public on the problem of garbage dumped into the sea and its effects on marine life.   More than 600 volunteers including - Volunteers from Indian Coast Guard,   College and school students, National Cadet Corps, Corporates’ participants participated in the coastal clean-up activity, along Chennai Marina beach and collected around 500kgs of garbage.   In the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, DIG Satish Kumar, TM, Region North Tamil Nadu , DIG M. PRO KABADDI LEAGUE ANNOUNCES REVISED DATES FOR SEASON 10 PLAYER AUCTION - 9TH & 10TH OCTOBER, 2023

  Mashal Sports, the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) organizers, have announced the revised dates for the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Player Auction. The player auction will now be held on 9 th  & 10 th  October 2023. Mashal Sports had earlier scheduled the PKL Season 10 Player Auction on 8-9 September. INAUGURATION OF A NEW HAEMODIALYSIS MACHINE

TANKER    (Tamilnad Kidney Research) Foundation  is a registered non-profit charitable Organization started in June 1993 with the aim of helping under-privileged patients with kidney disease by giving Subsidized Dialysis and one time financial help for medication, investigation and transplantation and spread awareness about kidney disease.    TANKER runs 14 dialysis units, 11 in Chennai and one each in Madurai, Vellore and Tiruppur. The Ambattur dialysis unit is supported by the Ambattur Rotary Club and Hospital, the CMCHIS and many valuable donors.    The new dialysis machine has been donated by Mr. Shankar Narayan Swamy and Mrs. Asha Swamy. An award evening ceremony titled “PURASKARA SANDHYA 2023” organised by Indian Magic Academy was held in a grand magical manner on 3 rd September 2023 at Madras Kerala Samajam Hall, Chennai.   Film star Seema inaugurated the award ceremony.
