Belstar Microfinance Ltd Supports Jobless Youth through CSR initiative


As part of a CSR initiative, Belstar Microfinance Ltd (A Subsidiary of Muthoot Finance Ltd) and Hand in Hand India (A leading INGO from Chennai) are jointly conducting free vocational skill development programme for jobless youth/fresher of Tamil Nadu. Under this programme, youth who are graduated but jobless will undergo skill training through virtual mode for 15 days considering pandemic situation. No fee will be charged under this programme. Youth will be trained on ‘Sales, Customer Relationship & Microfinance Loan Products and other skills that industries seek in young graduates. Upon completion of virtual skill training programme, the youth will receive certificates followed by support for better employment with starting salary of 10-12k. An award evening ceremony titled “PURASKARA SANDHYA 2023” organised by Indian Magic Academy was held in a grand magical manner on 3 rd September 2023 at Madras Kerala Samajam Hall, Chennai.   Film star Seema inaugurated the award ceremony. The chief guest, Hon. Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri. P. K.
