Vidyodaya Schools Reunion 2021 goes virtually

Vidyodaya Schools Alumni Association (Poorva Vidhyarthini Samaj) is having its Annual Reunion get together on Saturday 30th Jan 2021.

The zoom link is on the Vidyodaya School Alumni Association Poorva Vidhyarthini Samaj Facebook page. This reunion has been held for over 21 years so that past students may get together informally and get an update about school activities.

Old and retiring teachers are also honoured on the occasion. 12 Scholarships amounting to Rs.1.2 Lakhs ( Rs.10,000/- each ) for students from low socio-economic families studying in Vidyodaya will be distributed. These scholarships have been given regularly by the alumni for over 14 years and they hope to increase the number and amount every year. 

Vidyodaya is a premier girls school which is 96 years old and has always striven to give an all-round holistic education for girls, focusing on academics, sports, cultural and overall development. Upto 1970 boys were also educated till 5th Std. Several well known and distinguished personalities have passed out of this great institution.

Isidores' love story is shattered when his wife is revealed to be a liar, cheat and unfaithful

Award ceremony to honour outstanding achievements

An award evening ceremony titled “PURASKARA SANDHYA 2023” organised by Indian Magic Academy was held in a grand magical manner on 3 rd September 2023 at Madras Kerala Samajam Hall, Chennai.   Film star Seema inaugurated the award ceremony. The chief guest, Hon. Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri. P. K. Shekar Babu along with actress Seema jointly distributed the Mantrika Shrestha Award, Mantrika Ratna Award, and the Overall Contribution Awards at the event. The event was presided over by Shri E. Karunakaran. Magician Shornur Ravi welcomed the gathering.   While the Overall Contribution Awards were received by Mayan Vaidhar Shah, Kadattanad Vijayan, and E.K. P.
