LAVA LAUNCHES SHARK 2 4G WITH 50MP AI CAMERA AND 6.75” HD+ DISPLAY AT JUST ₹6,999

Lava International Limited, one of the fastest growing Indian smartphone brand, announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Lava SHARK 2 4G. With this launch, Lava further expands its 4G portfolio, bringing a better processor, bigger display, and advanced features designed to meet the evolving needs of first-time smartphone buyers and young consumers. Combining strong performance, stylish design, and a clean software experience, the SHARK 2 offers a significant upgrade over its predecessor. 

The Lava SHARK 2 features a 50MP AI rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, Octa-core UNISOC T7250 processor, 4GB+4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a 6.75" HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It packs a 5000mAh battery with Type-C charging, is IP54 dust and water resistant, and comes in Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold. The smartphone will be available from October 2025 across all retail stores.

TANKER Foundation celebrated its 31st Annual Charity and Awards Nite on Thursday, 25th January 2024 at Hotel Savera, RK Salai, Chennai. The event was a live streaming programme. The programme began with The Mr. Venkatesan & Mrs. Malathi Venkatesan TANKER Foundation Memorial Lecture which was delivered by Ms. Shanthi Rajmohan, a brave warrior and a person who is on CAPD for a long term (20+ years). Ms. Shanthi Rajmohan shared her experiences and several heart-warming stories about her life   and her uphill struggle with her health. She has been on CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) for over 20 years. The key takeaways for people at the CME programme held Sunday November 26, 2023, with the theme ‘Kidney Health for All’ were exercise and diet, awareness, screening and timely check-ups to prevent chronic kidney disease (CKD).   Participating as the Chief Guest, Tamil Nadu Health Secretary, Mr. Gagandeep Singh Bedi, IAS, laid stress on the fact that kidney disease was increasing and there was a need for addressing the issue.
