Clean Air Awareness Campaign by 2000 students

As per the instructions from Dept of Environment Forest and Climate change, Govt of India national Clean air awareness programs were conducted by Tamilnadu Environment Department in association with Pollution control board and greater Chennai Corporation in 5 different locations by involving around 2000 students belonging to National Green Corps and Eco clubs of 30 schools.



Ms.Sowmya ,Asst Conservator of forest and Mr.G.R. Rajasekaran, District Educational officer flagged off the rallies in the presence of Mr.Thangaraj and Mr.Ravikumar District coordinators. The students took pledge to avoid plastic carry bags and to re-use the materials to the maximum possible extent. Awareness pamphlets were distributed to public during the human chain Organised at Saidapet, Tondaiarpet, Vepery, T.Nagar and Koyambedu areas.
