Apollo Hospitals conducted Multispecialty Screening Camp at Chennai Airport as part of Independence Day celebration

Apollo Hospitals conducted various health awareness programs as part of 75th year Independence Day celebration.  As a part of its outreach program, Apollo Hospitals conducted a Multispeciality Health Screening Camp in association with Rotary Club for the employees of Airports Authority of India at the Chennai Airport. 

The camp was inaugurated by Dr.Sharad Kumar, Airport Director, Airports Authority of India, and Chennai Airport. Over 150 employees witnessed the health screening camp at Chennai Airport. The health camp was conducted to drive home the message “It’s vital to keep ourselves fit and healthy, the health of the nation is important, only then India can grow into a superpower and take its rightful place in the world”.


The camp involved tests like height, weight, blood pressure, random blood sugar, ECG, ECHO along with doctor consultation. Consultation was provided by Dr.P Harikrishnan, Cardiologist,Apollo Speciality Hospitals, Vanagaram. Speaking at the event, Dr. P Harikrishnan spoke about the importance of staying healthy and also the role of regular health checks to know one’s health status. Only through regular health checks can one detect ailments early and take preventive action, added Dr.Harikrishnan.
