Tamil Nadu athletes emerged shining stars of 2nd Khelo Games


VIP Chief Guest Mr.Anurag Thakur, Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports accepting the invitation by Mr.Purushothaman, General Secretary on behalf of Khelo Masters Games Association inaugurated the event in the presence of Adam Sinclair,Olympian and President of Khelo Masters Games Association. Rouble Nagi, artist, sculptor & social activist had graced the Khelo Nationals occasion.

An overall number of 4000 athletes from 21 states actively participated in the 2nd Khelo Master Games a New Delhi from 30th April to 3rd May 2022 for multiple disciplines. It was a fantastic outing for the 158 members of the Tamil Nadu Contingent.



Tamil Nadu State won a rich haul of medals as every participating athlete took home a medal. Tamil Nadu won 32 Gold, 18 Silver and 7 Bronzes. Athletics brought in a medal tally of 26, Basketball women and Volleyball men picked gold’s, while Basketball Men, Hockey women and men picked silvers in 5 categories.


The sprint events, Long Jump and Triple Jump were Tamil Nadu's reign to supreme in the men and women's categories. All in all, it was a great and satisfying show for the athletes of Tamil Nadu who participated in the games. Tamil Nadu athletes emerged as the stars of 2nd Khelo Games and it was a very good show put by the athletes of Tamil Nadu.

The 10th annual exhibition of paintings titled   SPROUTS -2023 showcasing beautiful   artworks   done by   creative and talented disciples of P.D.Paul was inaugurated on 1 st May 2023 in a grand and excellent manner at   Lakshana Art Gallery, Abhiramapuram, Chennai. The exhibition presented by Corner Stone, features a number of colourful paintings by artists, Subirthana, Stephanie Samuel, Saadhwishri, Poorna, Jairus and Jabez Kennady, Advika and guest artist Mr.Viswanathan.
