"Say Goodbye to Joint Pain: Apollo Hospitals Innovative Program Arrives"

Apollo Hospitals has launched the Apollo Joint Preservation Program in India, aimed at transforming joint care within its network. This initiative focuses on early intervention and personalized treatment to help people maintain their mobility and confidence while promoting proactive joint health. The launch featured Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals, Dr. Brett Fritsch, an Orthopaedic Surgeon from Sydney, and other senior doctors from the Orthopaedic Department.

The program provides comprehensive care tailored for patients experiencing joint pain, arthritis, inflammatory conditions, and ligament injuries. It encourages active and healthy lifestyle choices to reduce discomfort and avoid invasive procedures as much as possible.

At the launch, Dr. Sangita Reddy expressed congratulations to the team, highlighting that the program is designed for the comfort of patients of all ages. Many may not know about available treatment options for joint pain or degeneration. The initiative emphasizes three key aspects: Tailored advice, Treatment (medical and surgical), and Therapies (including rehabilitation, nutrition, and alternative therapies). This city-wide effort aims to help individuals preserve mobility and improve life quality in the long run.

The program supports early diagnosis and customized therapies to delay or prevent serious joint health problems. Patients seeking treatment advice for their joints elsewhere, as well as those having their first consultation for joint pain, now have access to a diverse range of treatment options.

Dr. A Navaladi Shankar from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, stated that the Joint Preservation Program will provide innovative, non-invasive treatments such as Platelet-rich Plasma therapy, Bone marrow concentrate therapy, and Ozone therapy to give patients control over their joint health, allowing them to lead vibrant lives without unnecessary surgeries.

Dr. Kornad P Kosygan, another consultant at Apollo Hospitals, mentioned that patients will receive comprehensive support services, including physiotherapy, rehabilitation, nutritional advice for weight management, and alternative therapies such as yoga. This holistic approach is intended to preserve natural joint function and foster patient trust and long-term relationships with healthcare providers, which will facilitate smoother transitions to joint replacements if they become necessary.

Dr. Arun Kannan emphasized that this new program marks a significant change in orthopaedic care, helping patients regain mobility and achieve long-term joint health. By utilizing advanced Orthobiologic therapies and regenerative treatments like PRP therapy, patients can maintain and improve their joint functionality, leading to an active lifestyle.

The program combines regenerative therapies with surgical strategies, which aim to improve joint function and provide lasting relief. The extensive support services offered also promote trust and engagement, ensuring a seamless transition to joint replacement when truly needed. Overall, Apollo Hospitals is dedicated to enhancing life quality and encouraging an active lifestyle through this Joint Preservation Program.
