INAUGURATION OF A NEW HAEMODIALYSIS MACHINE FOR THE REKHA MEMORIAL RENNY ABRAHAM AMBATTUR ROTARY TANKER DIALYSIS UNIT

TANKER Foundation runs 14 dialysis units, 11 in Chennai and one each in Madurai, Vellore and Tiruppur. The Ambattur dialysis unit is supported by the Ambattur Rotary Club and Hospital, the CMCHIS and many valuable donors. 

 

M/s. Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Ltd have donated 1 dialysis machine and 3 defibrillators. The machine was inaugurated by Mr. Clement Williams, Senior Vice President- FIG  and Mr. Pawan Soni ,Chief Manager - CSR . Mr Williams said that he had first hand experience with kidney disease and was very appreciative of the TANKER Team work. Mr Soni said that they were happy to be associated with TANKER and hoped to do more.This generous donation will benefit all our underprivileged patients.

 

Mrs Latha Kumaraswami, Managing Trustee of TANKER Foundation said that every donation was precious and  conveyed TANKER's grateful thanks to M/s. Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Ltd  , the CMCHIS,  the Greater Chennai Corporation , Ambattur Rotary Club and Hospital  and other valuable donors for their regular support. TANKER has done almost 643,056 lakhs dialysis and is now helping 885 patients. Awareness programmes have been done for almost 2 Lakh people and Screening Camps for 41,252 people for early detection of kidney disease.TANKER's staff are the Angels on Earth who are totally selfless and dedicated to helping the needy.

 

The Machine was inaugurated at The Rekha Memorial Renny Abraham Ambattur Rotary TANKER Foundation Dialysis Unit, Ambattur Rotary Hospital, 1st Main Road, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai – 600058.

Award ceremony to honour outstanding achievements

An award evening ceremony titled “PURASKARA SANDHYA 2023” organised by Indian Magic Academy was held in a grand magical manner on 3 rd September 2023 at Madras Kerala Samajam Hall, Chennai.   Film star Seema inaugurated the award ceremony. The chief guest, Hon. Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri. P. K. Shekar Babu along with actress Seema jointly distributed the Mantrika Shrestha Award, Mantrika Ratna Award, and the Overall Contribution Awards at the event. The event was presided over by Shri E.
