AGM & Christmas Get-together of Anglo-Indian Suburban Front

 

"The Anglo-Indian Suburban Front”, Chennai held its 20th Annual General Body Meeting and Christmas Celebration in  Chennai on Wednesday, 21st December'2022.The Front's Secretary-Mrs.Petula Pinheiro welcomed the gathering, which was preceded by a Prayer by a member-Mr.Gerard Barnett for the well-being of the Members and the functioning of the Association. 

The Founder and President of the Association-Dr.A.Roy Rozario highlighted the various activities undertaken by the Association under his President ship and also presented the Statement of Accounts for the last financial 2021-2022.This was followed by Election of office-bearers during which Mr.Gerard Ronald Barnett was unanimously elected as Vice-President and the others being retained in the same positions. Mr.Colin Reghelini from Tambaram suggested that more Youth should be inducted into the Association and advised to come to the forefront and conduct activities for their upliftment.


Around 10 poor members of the community were offered financial help as charity during Christmas season. The highlights of the evening was the arrival of Santa Claus and Carol singing by Mrs.Loretta and others led by Mr. Michael Fernandez playing the guitar.
