“It has been brought to our notice that some Vi customers are getting SMS and Calls from unidentified numbers asking them to update their KYC immediately. These fraudsters, at times, disguise as company representatives and threaten unsuspecting users with SIM block if KYC is not done. They may also seek certain confidential information from customers, in the name of verification.   Vi cautions all our customers against such unauthorised Calls and SMS. Vi customers are advised to not give their KYC details or share any OTP with anybody on a call, and should not call back on these numbers or click on any link mentioned in the SMS.   Customers are informed that clicking on any unverified link or sharing any details could lead to data and information theft from the mobile device, and can have other serious consequences.   All customer communication from the company is only done from the SMS ID ‘ViCARE’. The Sathyalok Shanti Lulla MWRT -10, Rotary Club of Chennai Capital TANKER Foundation dialysis center was inaugurated on Thursday 29th July 2021 at "Sathyalok Charitable Trust, Porur, Chennai”. The unit was inaugurated by Mr. Sanjay Lulla, Mr. Prem Watwani & Mr. Mukesh Khubchandani.Dr. Georgi Abraham of TANKER foundation, Mr.Dushyanth Chairman MWRT 10 , Rotary Dist Gov Rtn Sridhar and Rtn Rajiv President Rotary Club of Chennai Capital also participated and spoke. Mrs.Latha Kumaraswami ,Managing Trustee TANKER Foundation gave an update about TANKER Foundation saying that TANKER had done over 416,104 lakh dialysis so far and given donations of over Rs.3.39 crore as donations. TANKER has also helped set up dialysis centres in Imphal Manipur, Kerala,MGM Pondicherry, Tanzania and Vennikulam Kerala and Port Blair, Andamans. She thanked all TANKER staff and all frontline workers for their selfless service especially during the pandemic.
