Auric, ISAK, Fix My Curls named winners of Amazon’s Propel Global Business Accelerator Season 4; Season 5 announced

  A mazon India announced Auric, ISAK Fragrances and Fix My Curls as the winners of the Amazon’s Propel Global Business Accelerator Season 4.This program has been designed to provide dedicated support to emerging Indian brands in the direct to consumer (D2C) space to reach customers around the world using e commerce exports.  Auric founded by Deepak Agarwal , ISAK Fragrances founded by Vidushi Vijayvergiya , and Fix My Curls by Anshita Mehrotra , collectively awarded a $100K equity free grant from Amazon to support their international growth ambitions. Building on the program's success, Amazon India also announced the launch of Propel S5. 67% in Southern India Feels Uneasy Using Illegal Mosquito Incense Sticks, Reveals Good Knight Study

67% citizens in South Indiareport feeling uneasy or irritated while using illegal and unregulated mosquito repellent incense sticks, according to a survey by Good Knight, India’s leading household insecticide brand from Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. (GCPL). Titled “One Mosquito, Countless Threats,” the nationwide survey, conducted by market research firm YouGov and commissioned by Good Knight, explores public attitudes toward mosquito repellents and highlights the risks associated with mosquito-borne diseases.In the southern region, which includes states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kochi,a growing number of consumers are voicing concerns over illegal mosquito repellent incense sticks.   Nationally, 69% of respondents reported feeling uneasy about using illegal mosquito repellent incense sticks, with East India showing the highest concern (73%), followed by North (69%), South (67%) and then West (67%). Chennai's Fishermen Get Specialized Eye and General Health Care

A Specialized Eye and General Medical Check-up Camp was held on 14th June 2025 at Mullikuppam Community Hall in Chennai, benefiting 112 residents from the local fishing community with health consultations and screenings. This event was organized by ACS Medical College and Hospital, United Legal Rights Organisation – ASIA, BASE Trust, and the Indian Community Welfare Organisation (ICWO) to improve healthcare access for marginalized communities. Mr. A. J. Hariharan from ICWO thanked Mr. Ravi Ranganathan and Mr. Sathish Nagappan from CBM India Trust for their support. The camp was inaugurated by Ms. K. Ushakumari, who highlighted the importance of providing medical care to coastal communities. Community mobilization was key to the camp's success, supported by local organizations. Basic medications were provided, and patients needing further care were referred to hospitals. The organizers thank all medical professionals, volunteers, and local leaders for their contributions.
