A 75-year-old male patient from Sri Lanka was admitted in cardiogenic shock with severe Aortic stenosis and Mitral Valve regurgitation. A 58-year-old man with a massive rupture of the left ventricular chamber of the heart underwent a life-saving surgery at Apollo Specialty Hospitals, Vanagaram. The high-risk surgical repair was performed by Dr. D. Janardhana Reddy, a ventricular restoration specialist, and his energetic surgical team. A 58 years old man, suffered chest pain as a result of a major blockage in the coronary artery at the back of the heart. The patient underwent successful angioplasty and stenting of the blocked coronary artery in Andhra Pradesh. After a brief period of good health, he began to experience limitations in physical activity, tiredness, palpitations, and shortness of breath. According to Knight Frank’s The Wealth Report 2022, Chennai was home to 160 ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs, with net worth of US$ 30m and above) in the year 2021. In the last 5 years, Chennai’s ultra-rich population grew by 64.2% from 97 in 2016 to 264 in 2021 making it the 4 th fastest growing city in terms of UHNWIs during 2016-21.
