ICICI Bank Board approved standalone and consolidated accounts for the quarter ending June 30, 2026

The Board of Directors of ICICI Bank Limited approved the financial accounts for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. The auditors issued an unmodified report on these statements.

In Q1-2027, profit before tax excluding treasury rose by 20.9% to ₹18,975 crore (US$ 2.0 billion) compared to the same quarter last year. Core operating profit increased by 15.6% to ₹20,235 crore (US$ 2.1 billion), with an 18.3% rise to ₹19,125 crore (US$ 2.0 billion) when excluding dividends from subsidiaries. Net interest income (NII) also grew by 12.7% to ₹24,384 crore (US$ 2.6 billion). The net interest margin improved slightly to 4.36%.

Non-interest income, excluding treasury, saw a 16.0% increase to ₹8,425 crore (US$ 890 million), with fee income rising by 23.5% to ₹7,286 crore (US$ 770 million). However, operating expenses increased by 10.4% to ₹12,574 crore (US$ 1.3 billion). The treasury gained ₹151 crore (US$ 16 million) compared to losses in the previous quarter. Provisions, excluding tax, decreased to ₹1,260 crore (US$ 133 million) from ₹1,815 crore (US$ 192 million) last year.

Total advances were up by 19.6% year-on-year, reaching ₹16,31,260 crore (US$ 172.3 billion). The retail loan portfolio made up 49.2% of the total. The gross NPA ratio improved to 1.38%, with gross NPA additions decreasing compared to last year.

The Bank's capital adequacy ratios were above the required levels, with a total capital ratio of 16.84% and a CET-1 ratio of 16.19%. The profit after tax for ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company was ₹965 crore (US$ 102 million), while ICICI Securities reported a profit of ₹419 crore (US$ 44 million). ICICI Home Finance saw a slight decrease in profit to ₹200 crore (US$ 21 million).
