SPJIMR Dean Varun Nagaraj appointed to AACSB Board of Directors

Varun Nagaraj, Dean of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the world’s leading standard-setting body for business education. He will represent the Asia Pacific region on the global board.

Dean Nagaraj’s leadership and perspective will further strengthen AACSB’s mission to connect, elevate, and transform business education globally, and we are proud to welcome representation from India to our Board for the first time.”

SPJIMR is the first Indian business school to be represented on the AACSB Board in its 110-year history. While individuals of Indian origin have previously served on the Board, they have represented institutions located outside of India. Dr. Nagaraj’s three-year term commences on July 1, 2026.

Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Ltd have donated 1 dialysis machine and 3 defibrillators. The machine was inaugurated by   Mr. Clement Williams, Senior Vice President- FIG   and  Mr. Pawan Soni ,Chief Manager - CSR   . Mr Williams said that he had first hand experience with kidney disease and was very appreciative of the TANKER Team work. TANKER 32nd Annual Charity and Awards Nite Celebrates Success

TANKER Foundation held its 32nd Annual Charity and Awards Nite on January 27, 2025, at Hotel Savera, RK Salai, Chennai.The program started with the Mr. Venkatesan & Mrs. Malathi Venkatesan TANKER Foundation Memorial Lecture by Mr. V. Gururajan, a 32-year post transplant survivor. He shared his personal journey, including his brother's decision to donate a kidney to him and the support he received from family and friends. He discussed how he maintains his health through diet, exercise, yoga, and meditation. Dr. Georgi Abraham, Founder Trustee of TANKER Foundation, emphasized the importance of research in preventing kidney disease, highlighting TANKER's collaborative efforts with doctors and specialists across India. 31st TANKER Annual Charity and Awards Nite 2024

TANKER Foundation celebrated its 31st Annual Charity and Awards Nite on Thursday, 25th January 2024 at Hotel Savera, RK Salai, Chennai. The event was a live streaming programme. The programme began with The Mr. Venkatesan & Mrs. Malathi Venkatesan TANKER Foundation Memorial Lecture which was delivered by Ms. Shanthi Rajmohan, a brave warrior and a person who is on CAPD for a long term (20+ years). Ms. Shanthi Rajmohan shared her experiences and several heart-warming stories about her life   and her uphill struggle with her health. She has been on CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) for over 20 years.
