Mandala Art Book Donation to Support the Emotional Well-being of Dialysis Patients and attenders

Mandala art is widely known for its therapeutic benefits. Creating or colouring mandala designs can help reduce stress, promote relaxation and serve as a form of art therapy that improves mental well-being.

With this meaningful purpose, Sudha Lakshmi Rao, Trustee and a donor to TANKER Foundation since its inception, donated therapeutic mandala art books specially designed by her along with colouring materials to all the dialysis units of the Foundation.

This thoughtful initiative is intended to help dialysis patients and their attendants engage in calming colouring activities that promote relaxation, positivity and emotional well-being. Such creative engagement can be particularly beneficial for patients undergoing dialysis and for caregivers who often experience stress and anxiety during treatment sessions. She will also be donating more books for all the staff of TANKER Foundation as she feels it will help them also. The donation took place on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Administrative Office of TANKER Foundation in T. Nagar.

This initiative reflects the TANKER Foundation’s commitment not only to providing life-saving dialysis treatment but also to supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of patients and their families.
