Strengthening Chennai City’s Electric Public Transport Network SWITCH Mobility , a global leader in electric buses and light commercial vehicles and part of the Hinduja Group, flagged off SWITCH EiV12 Low Floor Buses for city transport from Central Bus Depot in Chennai. The flag-off forms part of a centralised rollout of 145 electric buses comprising of 100 AC and 45 Non-AC city buses at the Central Depot. The flag-off was undertaken by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, in the presence of Mr. S.S. Sivasankar, Hon’ble Minister for Transport, Government of Tamil Nadu.
