Renault Brings Back Its Iconic Duster

Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group, today unveiled new Renault Duster, marking the return of a nameplate that helped establish the mid-size SUV category in the country. New Renault Duster preserves rugged, adventure-first character while advancing in areas critical to Indian SUV buyers: design, powertrain technology, comfort, safety and ownership experience.

True to its iconic image, new Renault Duster was unveiled in a first in industry event witnessing a gathering of over 15,000 people along with Gang of Dusters community making a resounding comeback at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai.New Renault Duster marks the first product unveil under Renault Group’s International Game Plan in India, where the brand is prioritizing targeted investment and product expansion as part of a broader global strategy.

New Renault Duster also marks the debut of the strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 engine, powered by 1.8L engine along with a 1.4 kWh battery, making it the most efficient and powerful hybrid, allowing segment’s best up to 80% EV mode in city drive conditions.The Turbo TCe 160 and Turbo TCe 100 petrol engines come paired with advanced transmission choices that elevate the driving experience. The 6 speed DCT with wet clutch available with Turbo TCe 160, delivers lightning fast‑ gear shifts for maximum performance and is utmost suitable for Indian driving condition. On the other hand, the 6-speed manual offers precise mechanical control with direct gear engagement for maximum driver command. INAUGURATION OF A NEW HAEMODIALYSIS MACHINE FOR THE REKHA MEMORIAL RENNY ABRAHAM AMBATTUR ROTARY TANKER DIALYSIS UNIT

  17 th  February 2024    TANKER Foundation runs 14 dialysis units, 11 in Chennai and one each in Madurai, Vellore and Tiruppur.  The Ambattur dialysis unit is supported by the Ambattur Rotary Club and Hospital, the CMCHIS and many valuable donors.    M/s. Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Ltd have donated 1 dialysis machine and 3 defibrillators. The machine was inaugurated by   Mr. Clement Williams, Senior Vice President- FIG   and  Mr. Pawan Soni ,Chief Manager - CSR   . Mr Williams said that he had first hand experience with kidney disease and was very appreciative of the TANKER Team work. The key takeaways for people at the CME programme held Sunday November 26, 2023, with the theme ‘Kidney Health for All’ were exercise and diet, awareness, screening and timely check-ups to prevent chronic kidney disease (CKD).   Participating as the Chief Guest, Tamil Nadu Health Secretary, Mr. Gagandeep Singh Bedi, IAS, laid stress on the fact that kidney disease was increasing and there was a need for addressing the issue. He drew attention to the fact that the Tamil Nadu government scheme, ‘Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam’, (Taking Healthcare to People), checked 1 crore people for sugar and BP and the number of new cases was alarming. These are the two major reasons for kidney disease, diabetes and hypertension and so he advised eating the right kind of food, doing regular exercise and creating awareness and screening.
