ASME will hold IMECE in India in 2025

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a leading international organization driving collaboration and knowledge-sharing across engineering disciplines, is set to host its flagship event, the International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE), in India for the very first time. The event will take place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) from 10th to 13th September 2025, marking a historic milestone in the Congress’ legacy of innovation, research, and global engagement.

Traditionally held in the United States, IMECE brings together thought leaders, researchers, industry professionals, policy makers, and students from across the globe to explore breakthroughs in science, technology, and innovation. Featuring over 650 research papers& Technical presentations, 1500 delegates, and 100 exhibitors, the first ever IMECE India 2025 edition will serve as a catalyst for advancing engineering knowledge, strengthening academia–industry collaboration, and accelerating innovative solutions to address global challenges.

The theme of IMECE India 2025 is sustainability, innovation and inclusivity. This theme reflects the broad range of topics,from cutting edge technologies and manufacturing processes to the integration of AI and robotics in mechanical systems, and from sustainable design practices to the role of mechanical engineering in addressing global societal challenges.

The three-day conference will present an expansive program across diverse technical tracks including Additive Manufacturing & 3D Printing, Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies, Advances in Thermal Technologies, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing, Clean Energy Technologies & Systems, Cyber Physical Systems with AI/ML, Gas Turbines, Pressure Technologies, Robotics & Automation, Structural Dynamics & Materials, and Offshore & Onshore Pipeline Transmission & Distribution Systems. These sessions will spotlight the latest breakthroughs that are shaping the future of mechanical engineering across industries.
