Schaeffler India has launched its Social Innovator Fellowship Program as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative called HOPE. This program is designed to support young innovators in India who create sustainable solutions for important social and environmental issues. The fellowship will benefit 10 individuals aged 18 to 35, who will each receive a grant of INR 1.75 lakh and partake in a 24-week mentorship program at IIMA Ventures. This program aims to provide resources and guidance to help these innovators scale their ideas and broaden their impact.
Applications are
open to individuals, groups, and organizations working on challenges related to
environmental sustainability, renewable energy, carbon neutrality, circular
economy, natural resource management, and technology application in the social
sector. Applicants must show that they have a working prototype, a target
market, and a plan for scaling and sustaining their projects. A thorough
selection process will be conducted, involving a jury panel of Schaeffler India
