"Yoga Therapy for MS" Event Brings Hope to Patients

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI), Chennai Chapter, in collaboration with Yogavahini Foundation, Chennai and Kauvery Hospital, Radial road successfully hosted a special event, "Yoga Therapy for MS," at Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, on Sunday, May 11th to commemorate World MS day. 

The special session featured expert talks by eminent Neurologists of Kauvery Hospital, Radial road including Dr. Venkatraman Karthikeyan, Prof. Dr. Subramaniyan K, Dr. Swathi T, Dr. V. Balambighai, and Dr. Lakshmanan, on Multiple Sclerosis - MS and its Diagnosis followed by Medication, Rehabilitation and wellness beyond medication leading to quality life in spite of MS. Participants also gained insights into Yoga Therapy for neurological condition and learned practical yoga tools and practices to manage symptoms, support and empower individuals living with MS from Mrs. Saraswathi Vasudevan and Mrs. Jyothi Shanbhag of Yogavahini Foundation, Chennai. 

This initiative aimed to promote holistic approaches to managing MS and improve the quality of life for individuals with the condition. The event provided a platform for MS persons to connect with experts, learn new coping strategies, and find support.
