Two New Haemodialysis Machines at The Corporation U.P.H., RCCT TANKER Dialysis Unit, Retteri, Chennai

The two new dialysis machines at Retteri was inaugurated on 14th March 2025 by Mr. Vivek Rajagopalan, Trustee , Dishaa Foundation at the Corporation U.P.H.C, RCCT TANKER Dialysis Unit, located on Zone - III, Gangaiamman Koil Street, Lakshmipuram, Retteri, Chennai - 600099. The Retteri dialysis unit is supported by the Greater Chennai Corporation, Rotary Club of Chennai Towers, the CMCHIS and many valuable donors. This generous contribution will significantly benefit underprivileged TANKER patients. 

Mr Vivek Rajagopalan said he was deeply appreciative of the work TANKER Foundation does for the needy with kidney failure. The Dishaa foundation was helping for education, environment and medical support. Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami Managing Trustee of TANKER Foundation conveyed TANKER's heartfelt gratitude to Dishaa Foundation, the CMCHIS, the GCC, Rotary Clubs, RCCT and other valuable donors for their consistent and generous support. She said that the lifespan of a hemodialysis machine is typically 7 years, after which the machine must be replaced depending on utilization and operating hours. She highlighted the importance of timely replacement to ensure the continued delivery of quality care to patients.
