International Professional Basketball Star Mr. S. Purushothaman Inspires Young Athletes

The Basketball Dribbling Marathon 2025, organized by Sportsa India Organization, had a vibrant beginning filled with energy and sportsmanship. Mr. S. Purushothaman, an International professional Basketball Player, flagged off the marathon on 5th Jan 2025 at Second Main Road, Anna Nagar, Chennai. 

Notable guests included Mr. R. Sekar (Former DGP, Tamilnadu Police), Mr. Aravindhan (Zonal Director, Narcotics Control Bureau, Chennai), Dr. Mrs. Sneha Priya (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anna Nagar), and Mr. Deepak Kaushik (Superintendent, Narcotics Control Bureau, Chennai), who supported the event. The marathon was also graced by Mohammed Riaz, Hockey Olympian, Sprint King Dr.Natrajan, Asian Record Holder, Devarajan, Boxing World Cup B Medalist , Baskar Mr.World and Christy Elena, Hockey professional.

Young talents demonstrated their dribbling abilities, promoting sports, fitness, and a drug-free life. Thanks were given to Mrs. Sooria James and Mr. Bharath Kumar, Trustees Sportsa India Organization, for their dedication towards the event's success which aimed to promote basketball and most importantly create drug free healthy youngsters in the world.
