Renowned sculptor Dr C Jawahar held a solo exhibition at Cholamandal Artists' Village

“My sculptures reflect my artistic journey, with each material—whether it’s ceramics, wood, metal, or terracotta—offering a new way to express myself. With over 25- years of experience his work shows the depth, sensitivity, and creativity. His exhibition at the Cholamandal artists village he expresses himself at the physical level using ceramics, wood, metal, Terracotta and acrylic.

An ambitious sculptor Dr. Jawahars works in various mediums explores the elements and principles of art thus creating a different dimension and allowing the viewer to experience every aspect of 3d sculptures. His art experience of over twenty five years and his qualifications as an academician in India and abroad helped him broaden his intellectual horizons. His sculptures possess the qualities of power, sensitivity, three dimensional depth and originality of form.

With a honorary doctorate in fine arts from International Peace University Stuttgart, Germany(2021).Dr. Jawahar continues to work at Muscat, Oman.

Most of the senior artist and juniors and juniors from the college of fine arts had made their visit.

The artist himself is a native of Madurai has been working in the past four years for this gallery, and all this artworks has been made during his holiday visits for a month every year and the works has been stored in Chennai for this occasion.
