Lifestyle for a better environment


Sustainable lifestyle Environment awareness programs were conducted in Chennai and Thiruvallur Districts as per the guidelines by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, through cultural artist’s street plays and puppet shows. 

 Mr. Thangaraj, Chennai District National Green Corps Coordinator, during the inauguration campaign at Government Higher Secondary School, Kathivakkam, detailed the ill effects of single-use plastics, carry bags, etc. and also insisted the students use cycles, walk to the nearest places, and avoid air pollution. 


Cultural artists' performances on karagattam, thappattam, puppet shows, street plays, and folk dances attracted the students and public and took a pledge on minimizing garbage, etc.Earlier, environmentalist Mr.Ramesh briefed the day-to-day activities to be carried out by every individual to follow a lifestyle for a better environment.
