Orientation on Human Trafficking for College Professors in Chennai
For the first time in State of Tamil Nadu an Orientation on Human Trafficking programme was organised for Professors in Chennai College on 31st March at Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth College For Women in Perambur,Chennai.

T Thomas Elizabeth College for Women welcomed the gathering. The inaugural
address was rendered by Dr.S.Sridevi, Principal of Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth
College for Women. Mr.A.J.Hariharan, Founder- Secretary of ICWO spoke about the
purpose of the orientation programme.
Dr P.M.Nair, IPS (Retd.), International Expert, Human Trafficking
Matters was the special speaker for the Orientation and Mr.H.
Natharsha Malim, State Co-ordinator-Tamilnadu, Bachpan
Bachoa Andolan (BBA) spoke on child rights and prevention efforts by
various stakeholders in Tamil Nadu.
Dr.S.Sridevi, Principal, CTTE College, Mrs.E Yoghitha, Professor, CTTE College & Mrs.Shierley, Professor, CTTE College and ICWO team actively participated.The participated colleges were Chevalier T.Thomas Elizabeth College for Women (CTTE College), Thiruthangal Nadar College, S.A. College of Arts & Science, Soka Ikeda College, Stella Maris College, MMM College of Health Sciences & Saveetha College of Nursing. Around 90 Professors participated in the orientation meeting. The function was organized by Indian Community Welfare Organisation-ICWO, Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth College for Women and Hanns Seidel Foundation India-HSF.
