Anglo-Indian Educational and Charitable Society Kerala celebrated World Anglo-Indian Day

The Society distributed financial assistance to aged members and scholarships were distributed to students. The members of the Society assembled at High Court junction at Ernakulam and staged a banner demonstration raising the demand of 'restoration of representation in Parliament and State Legislatures for Anglo-Indians '  Dr. Charles Dias former Member of Parliament and President of the Federation of Anglo-Indian Associations in India inaugurated the demonstration.  James Gunther, President of the Society and Bearo D' Coutho , Secretary and John Rebellow member spoke on the occasion.


 The meeting in connection with the World Anglo-Indian Day celebrations was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro Patron of the Society. There was piano music by Glen Vernom and other cultural programme.
