PLACEMENT DAY AND HR CONCLAVE

 The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and The Placement Cell of Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, T.Nagar, Chennai organized “The Placement Day (Choice for Supremacy) & HR Conclave” on April 23rd, 2022, Saturday in the college premises. The Guests of honour for the event were Dr. Ganesh Acharya, Chairman, Shield International Group, Legal & Corporate Affairs- Supreme Court of India & IHRO Global Advisor- BRICS ASEAN chamber of commerce, Mr. Chandrasekhar Chenniappan, Senior Director- Human Resources, Virtusa Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Charles Godwin, HR Leader & Public Speaker, ZOHO. Our college Principal Dr. S. Padmavathi, Associate Secretary Shri. Harish L. Metha and Vice Principal Dr. S. Rukmani took part in the program.

           In his special address Mr. Chandrasekhar Chenniappan spoke about the changing food habits and lifestyle of the people which leads to a lot of health issues for the present generation and advised the students to maintain good health. Mr. Charles Godwin also encouraged the students to concentrate on skill development for better career prospects.  The college placement officer Mrs.ShanmugaPriya read out the annual report of our placement cell for the year 2021-22 and 776 students from the college have been placed in 26 organizations in this year. Our college alumni spoke about their experiences and the placement opportunities in our college. Various programmes were conducted for the students and prizes were distributed for the winners. The students who were placed in various institutions received their offer letters from the Chief guests. This was followed by a panel discussion on IT sector jobs by chief guests. The discussion highlighted the job opportunities in the IT sector and its growth. The program ended with the vote of thanks.
