Tomar made a vital contribution to Uttar Pradesh's 43-27 victory against Services in the Semi-Final of the 36th National Games Gujarat 2022 on Friday. Speaking about the match, the raider said, "We played the match very well. The Services team is a good one. They have a lot of good players. The match could have gone either way, but we stayed patient, which helped us win the match." Indian Men's Hockey Team return to National Camp ahead of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022-2023 season opener

    Hockey India on Saturday named a 33-member core probable group for the National Coaching camp starting on 3 rd  October 2022 to prepare for the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022-2023 season opener in Bhubaneswar. The Indian team will take on New Zealand and Spain in double header matches to be played at the iconic Kalinga hockey Stadium.  The core group for the national camp includes experienced goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, Krishan B Pathak and Pawan. vivo Pro Kabaddi League stars Nitin Tomar and Abhishek Singh made a substantial performance to help Uttar Pradesh book a place in the final of the men's kabaddi competition at the 36th National Games in Ahmedabad on Friday. Uttar Pradesh completely dominated the second half and registered a 43-27 victory in the last four game. The two teams fought toe-to-toe in the opening five minutes of the match as Services led by just one point at 3-2. Inauguration of Green Tamil Nadu Mission

Thiru M.K.Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the green Tamil Nadu mission in Vandalur by planting the first tree in zoo campus. The scheme is to plant 2.80crores of saplings in government, public, private properties and educational institutions all over the State for which nurseries were raised by forest department for the past 6 months.   Public, NGOs and Eco club/NGC students from various schools/colleges participated in the 500 trees plantations on the first day.   The NGC students from Vidya matric school, Medavakkam and eco club students from Annai Veilankanni's College & Vivekananda College also planted trees.
