These fraudsters, at times, disguise as company representatives and threaten unsuspecting users with SIM block if KYC is not done. They may also seek certain confidential information from customers, in the name of verification.   Vi cautions all our customers against such unauthorised Calls and SMS. Vi customers are advised to not give their KYC details or share any OTP with anybody on a call, and should not call back on these numbers or click on any link mentioned in the SMS.   Customers are informed that clicking on any unverified link or sharing any details could lead to data and information theft from the mobile device, and can have other serious consequences.   All customer communication from the company is only done from the SMS ID ‘ViCARE’. Chennai, July 15, 2021: Knight Frank India, a premium international property consultant, in their flagship market assessment report “India Real Estate January – June 2021” - that evaluates the performance of residential asset classes in top eight markets of India – cited that Chennai recorded a 93% YoY increase in residential demand in the first half of 2021 as sales jumped from 2,981 units sold in H1 2020 to 5,751 units sold in H1 2021. Further, new project launches grew by 54% to 5,424 units in H1 2021. On the demand front, South Chennai accounted for the largest share, 56% of the total units sold in H1 2021 followed by West Chennai with a 34% share. The INR 2.5-5 mn and the INR 5-7.5 mn ticket-size categories emerged as popular choices during this period. A first of its kind retrospective cohort study on impact of vaccination among Covid-19 patients by Star Health and Allied Insurance, one of the leading standalone health Insurance company in India, unveiled the significant impacts of vaccination among individuals 45 years and above. The study concluded that there was a marked reduction in the total hospitalization expenses by approximately 24%, the average length of stay (ALOS) by a mean of 2.1 days, ICU requirement by 66% and a reduction of approximately 81% in mortality among patients who had completed two doses of vaccination. The study was conducted during the second wave (March & April 2021) and considered a sample size of 3,820 hospitalized patients from across India who were 45 years and above. The cohort study revealed that the average cost of hospitalization of the unvaccinated group was Rs.2.77 lakh while the vaccinated group recorded an average cost of Rs.2.1 lakh. Knight Frank India , an International Property Consultant, in their latest report ‘ India Warehousing Market Report 2021 ’, cited that Chennai has recorded a total of 0.3 mn sq m (3.5 mn sq ft) of warehousing leasing activity in FY 2021. The city recorded a 4% YoY growth in warehouse space absorption despite the pandemic exigencies. Chennai is also the only city amongst the top eight markets to record positive YoY growth in FY 2021. Within the city, the highest leasing activity was concentrated in the Sriperumbudur-Oragadam cluster while the primary demand driver was the 3PL category in FY 2021.
